NQVL Design Phase Award

NQVL Design Phase Award has been awarded for the Quantum Computing Applications of Photonics (QCAP) Project. The University of New Mexico, New Mexico State University, University of Maryland (College Park), and the University of Virginia (Main Campus), Sandia National Laboratories, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and National Institute of Standards and Technology have received $4 million from NSF to move on with the design phase of the NQVL QCAP Project.
Congratulations to lead principal investigator Marek Osinski, a Distinguished Professor of Electrical Computer Engineering. He is in collaboration with co-investigators Mario Dagenais, Professor of Electrical Computer Engineering; Olivier R Pfister, Professor of Experimental Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics, Experimental Quantum Information; Boris Kiefer. Professor of Computational Material Science; Tara E Drake, Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy.
