OSE and CHTM Student, Arjun Aryal Wins Prestigious 2023 Intel Supply Chain Award for ‘’Best Student Papers’’

Arjun Aryal, a CHTM student has been awarded the 2023 Intel Supply Chain Award for Best Student Papers at the 2023 SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference. This award is given to students based on their ability to present and explain their work orally as well as the technical excellence of the subsequent manuscript. The reward comes with a prize money of $1500 and award certificate.
Arjun Aryal et.al paper titled “ Realization of High-Q Lamb Wave Resonator with Smooth Vertical Etching Profile for Thin Film Lithium Niobate,” explores the use of high-quality etched profile of Lithium Niobate Material System to develop high performance Acoustic Resonators for sensing applications. The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Tito Busani.
"I am honored to receive this award and grateful for the opportunity to present my research at the SPIE conference," Arjun said. " I would like to thank my supervisor Dr. Tito Busani for his excellent guidance and support throughout this project.”
