Students at CHTM win Engineering Expo Poster Competition

The University of New Mexico's School of Engineering (SOE) hosts the Engineering Expo, an annual event that showcases outstanding senior student capstone projects to SOE's corporate partners and other students and faculty. Last month, SOE hosted Engineering Expo V. This year's poster competition winners are all from NSME.

Mechanical Engineering Assistant Professor and CHTM faculty member Dr. Nathan Jackson teaches NSMS519- Theory, Fabrication, and Characterization of Nano and Micromechanical Systems (NEMS-MEMS) at CHTM. His three students, Zachary Brounstein (PhD), Elizabeth Armistead (PhD) and Murali Duggina (MS) were the winners. Their poster was based on a project designed and created in the course taugh by Dr. Jackson and the devices were fabricated at UNM's Manufacturing Training and Technology Center (MTTC).
