OVPR announces interim Research Compliance Director

The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) is proud to announce that Ana Andzic Tomlinson, J.D., has accepted the interim executive director position for Research Compliance on Main Campus after a competitive search.

Tomlinson, who began her new role July 18, is responsible for directing and overseeing the management of the Office of Research Compliance on Main Campus. In addition, she will serve as the senior staff administrator and liaison for issues pertaining to research compliance activities and functions.

The Office of Research Compliance is dedicated to the advancement of a culture of ethics, integrity and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies which govern institutions of higher education through awareness programs, monitoring and responding to non-compliance. The Office’s commitment to compliance includes the development of general and specific training, policies and appropriate oversight and monitoring to assist the  UNM community in the conduct of research activities based upon the highest standards of integrity and excellence through teamwork and professionalism.

The OVPR intends to continue to evaluate the executive director position over the course of the Fall 2016 semester and will announce plans for the permanent position later this year.
