Two CHTM Students Win Best Talk Awards

Congratulations are in order! Two CHTM students, Mr. Zadid Shifat, and Mr. Arjun Aryal, have won awards at the 2023 New Mexico AVS Symposium.
Zadid Shifat, is an OSE student, working with Dr. Tito Busani, presented his PhD work at the 2023 symposium in Albuquerque, NM and was nominated to attend the AVS 68th International Symposium and Exhibition in Portland, Oregon in November 2023.
His presentation, entitled," Optimization of high-quality etching performance of Scandium Aluminum Nitride (ScAlN) with Inductively Coupled Plasma Dry Etch and TMAH Solution for fabricating ScAlN based MEMS Resonators," was awarded the Best Talk Award.
Arjun Aryal, another OSE PhD student from Dr. Busani's research group, won the 2nd Best Talk Award for his presentaion on "Enabling Design of RF MEMS/NEMS Devices through High Quality Fabrication Process in Lithium Niobate Material System".
"Both of us are deeply honoured by the prestigious accolade bestowed upon us , and we are truly appreciative of the chance to share our research findings amidst the esteemed audience gathered at this noteworthy conference. It is with utmost gratitude that we extend our sincere thanks to our supervisor, Dr. Tito Busani, whose tremendous mentorship and unwavering support have been instrumental in this work(s)," says Shifat.
